Our Solution
Lung function testing, spirometry in particular, has repeatedly been cited as underutilized and inaccessible by the NIH and independent studies. Spirometry tests typically require a scheduled appointment with a trained technician to prevent error in results and avoid misdiagnosis. However, it has been difficult for medical professionals to perform in-person tests that generate aerosols because of ongoing COVID risks. This has exacerbated significant hurdles in patient care for postoperative follow-ups and ongoing disease maintenance.
We're building a unique, error-minimizing spirometer that replaces the hassle of in-person lung function testing with a more robust, HIPAA-compliant, telehealth solution.
